my mom, dad and brother; my family in New Jersey, Texas, New York, Pennsylvania, and long ago in Scotland and who knows where in Europe; sycamores and pigeons who taught me my first words in Brooklyn; Tara and Wendy; trees, wind, deer, dogs, cats, waters, birds, special plants and fungi who helped raise me, the Clousers, my teachers & peers at Cooper Union and SUNY-ESF, my artist mentors fawn krieger and day gleeson, Six Circles and many other farm friends, soil, plants and cows for starting to teach me how to live with the land again
